As an extension of the students’ learning, field trips are held every year for students at all grade levels. The choice of place that the students visit depends on the thematic unit the class studies. Some of the places visited include the Discovery Museum, Safari World, the Science Centre, and Siam Ocean World.
Primary students are further required to participate in a social work to develop their empathy and caring attitude. For some classes, smaller excursions may also take place, for instance to a manufacturing factory. These outings are designed to stimulate student interest in particular topics and serve as an extension to learning outside of the classroom. |
