| The students at St. Mark’s are taught the biblical principle, to love others as they would themselves. Of the many things that make a person a good citizen, two stand out. One is an attitude of caring about one’s fellow human beings. The other is the belief that one person can make a difference in the life of another person. Social Work Day forms a part of our primary curriculum to enhance the students’ character development. With that, the students in primary grades have the opportunity to make a contribution to the society by serving, donating, and entertaining needy people. The places they have been include the orphanages, home for the aged, and rehabilitation centre for the handicapped. |
